Laboratory
GWE's laboratory is in the Applied Research Center in Aiken, South Carolina, and is designed for hydrogen work. It supports air-sensitive synthesis and scale-up.
In-house analytical capabilities: scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive spectroscopy (SEM/EDS); hydrogen sorption capacity; pulse testing; packed bed flow testing; gas composition analysis; X-ray diffraction (XRD); ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis).
Safety and quality
GWE's staff includes a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) and a Certified Occupational Safety Manager (COSM). The lab also has first aid, CPR and AED instruction and written standard operating procedures.
